TATACOA DESERT AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF SAN AGUSTIN

Visit the Desert Tatacoa, also known as the Valley of sadness, is one of the wonders of the southern inner part of Colombia. This arid area in particular has nothing to do with the traditional image of sand dunes. Its 370 square miles are a vast expanse of semi -arid dry forest with cactus and wild cotton and rare and beautiful geological formations: sculptures produced by the erosion of time, of different shades of ocher tones and polka dots.
